Why This Homemade Ranch Recipe Works

Mayonnaise gives the dressing body, while sour cream makes it thick and creamy. Heavy whipping cream adds richness without requiring a carton of buttermilk, and the combination of milk and lemon juice gives the ranch a lighter consistency with a little extra tang.

Dried chives, parsley, garlic powder and black pepper bring in the familiar herb-and-garlic flavor people expect from ranch. Our Be Sure To Seasoning Seasoning Blend adds another layer of savory flavor without turning the recipe into an overly complicated dressing.
