Turn Leftover KFC Into The Best Chicken & Gravy Ever!
Don’t toss that KFC—turn it into a rich, delicious chicken & gravy meal in minutes. Cozy, budget-friendly, and ultra-satisfying.

Ingredients
- 3 leftover KFC thighs + 2 legs (or any leftover pieces)
- 2–3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ tsp all-purpose seasoning (any blend)
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- Dash of black pepper
- Optional: chicken skin pieces (for flavor & gravy base)
Instructions
- Heat a frying pan on medium heat.
- Add leftover KFC chicken pieces.
- Pour in ~2 cups chicken broth (enough to cover the chicken).
- Add seasonings (all-purpose blend, onion powder, black pepper).
- Whisk lightly so flavors mix with the broth.
- Add any leftover crispy skin — it helps thicken the gravy.
- Cover and simmer until it begins to boil.
- Flip chicken to coat both sides; continue simmering.
- Remove soggy skin pieces once flavor has infused.
- Let gravy reduce & thicken (add more broth if needed).
- Return chicken to pan; simmer until heated through.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, veggies, or rice.
