The Hot Brown | Kentucky’s Famous Open-Faced Sandwich Recipe

This rich, cheesy, open-faced Hot Brown sandwich is a Kentucky-born legend. Made famous at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, this version brings the same comfort and flavor right to your home kitchen.
🛒 Ingredients:
- 1 pack hollandaise sauce mix
- 1 can Alfredo sauce
- 4 thick slices turkey breast
- 4 slices of bread (Texas toast or white)
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1–2 tomatoes, sliced or diced
- 4 strips crispy bacon
👨🍳 Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare hollandaise sauce according to instructions. Stir in Alfredo sauce and milk, simmer until creamy.
- Place bread slices on a baking tray. Add turkey on each slice.
- Pour creamy sauce over the turkey.
- Top with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese.
- Add sliced or diced tomatoes on top.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until melted and bubbly.
