The Hot Brown Kentucky Sandwich

This rich, cheesy, open-faced Hot Brown sandwich is a Kentucky-born legend. Made famous at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, this version brings the same comfort and flavor right to your home kitchen.

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 pack hollandaise sauce mix
  • 1 can Alfredo sauce
  • 4 thick slices turkey breast
  • 4 slices of bread (Texas toast or white)
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1–2 tomatoes, sliced or diced
  • 4 strips crispy bacon

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare hollandaise sauce according to instructions. Stir in Alfredo sauce and milk, simmer until creamy.
  3. Place bread slices on a baking tray. Add turkey on each slice.
  4. Pour creamy sauce over the turkey.
  5. Top with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese.
  6. Add sliced or diced tomatoes on top.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and finish with crispy bacon. Serve hot!
