How To Make an Easy Canadian Poutine

Easy Canadian poutine with crispy fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen French fries
  • Seasoning of your choice (garlic powder, paprika, pepper, salt)
  • 1 to 1½ cups fresh cheese curds (or chopped mozzarella)
  • Hot brown gravy (your favorite packet/recipe — or watch my gravy video below)

Instructions

  1. Cook fries: Bake or air-fry fries until very crispy (follow bag directions). Season to taste.
  2. Heat gravy: Prepare brown gravy and keep it hot so it melts the curds.

  4. Sauce it up: Ladle hot gravy generously over the fries and curds so everything gets melty.
