Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb imitation crab (or fresh crab meat)
  • 7.5 oz Philadelphia Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1–3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack & Triple Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 or similar baking dish.
  2. Sauté aromatics (optional but tasty): In a small skillet, soften onion and celery in a spoon of the melted butter, 3–4 minutes. Cool slightly.
  3. Mix filling: In a bowl combine cream cheese spread, mayonnaise, sautéed onion & celery, and most of the shredded cheese. Fold in crab gently. Season to taste (salt/pepper if desired).
  4. Assemble: Spread mixture in the baking dish. Drizzle remaining melted butter over top and sprinkle the rest of the cheese.
  5. Bake: 25–30 minutes until hot, bubbling at edges, and lightly golden on top.
  6. Serve: Rest 5 minutes, then serve with crackers, toasted baguette, or over rice/pasta.
