📋 Ingredients:
- 8 large baking potatoes (peeled and thickly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ tsp white pepper
- Mrs. Dash Blend (to taste)
- Fresh ground black pepper (to taste)
- ¼ tsp Creole seasoning (plus more to taste)
- 1/3 cup half and half (plus 2 capfuls and 1 tsp)
- 1 chunk Velveeta (2% milk variety)
- 1/3 cup mild cheddar cheese
- 2–3 slices white American cheese
- 2–3 slices Velveeta cheese
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 extra tablespoon butter (for layering)
- Dried parsley (for garnish)
👨🍳 Instructions:
- Peel and thickly slice the potatoes. Set aside in a strainer.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and add seasonings. Stir in half and half and cheeses. Melt until smooth.
- Boil potatoes until just fork-tender. Drain and toss with butter.
- Mix cheese sauce with potatoes. Add half and half. Layer into a greased baking dish.
- Top with more butter and a splash of half and half. Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
